Dr Gemma Perry
Gemma investigates the effects of chanting meditation on emotional and cognitive processes. Her interests are primarily in how the chanting of specific sounds can decrease psychological and physiological stress, increase social connection, and ultimately expand states of awareness. Gemma is regularly interviewed by the media including for ABC News, Sydney Morning Herald, ABC Catalyst, 2GB and ABC Science as well as Australian Yoga Life Magazine and Yoga Today. She has also presented workshops on the benefits of yoga and meditation for mental health for a variety of community groups and schools, as well as corporations.

Dr Gemma Perry
Gemma is a researcher and teacher specialising in mantra meditation and the science of sound. She integrates psychology, yoga, and sound-based practices to support wellbeing.

Dr Oliver Baumann
Oliveris a cognitive neuroscientist and educator whose research explores how the brain processes sound, emotion, memory, and attention. He works closely with Gemma (his partner) on projects investigating the effects of mantra meditation on brain function, stress regulation, environment, and wellbeing.

Marlie Crummer
Marlie has a passion for clear communication and creative storytelling. Marlie supports the platform through video production, content editing, and digital media, helping to bring sound-based practices and education to life online

Angela Farrell
Angela, a Freelance Marketing Creative and Yogi, first met Gemma in high school. They reconnected over a shared love of yoga and sound meditation. Inspired by Gemma’s work, Angela is glad to be able to bring her marketing communication skills to Gemma’s mission, so that more people can enhance their body, mind and spirit.
