8-Week Online Tuesday Chanting Course

These 45-minute sessions include some gentle movement, a brief explanation of mantra meditation (repetitive sound) and a simple chanting practice done sitting cross legged (on a cushion/floor) or on a chair.

Power of Mantra Workshop
Duration - 2 Hours
This interactive workshop blends science with practice. Participants engage in guided chanting, breathwork, and a discussion on how sound-based practices enhance mental, physical, and spiritual health.
Learn about how different ways of sound meditation and breath impact the body and mind in distinct ways, from calming the nervous system to enhancing focus and emotional regulation. You’ll explore how these techniques work through both experience and discussing the latest evidence. Take away a daily practice you can use and a clearer understanding of which practice to use when in order to support your own unique needs..

Sound Meditation Workshop
Duration -2 Hours
This 2 hour experiential workshop explores sound meditation; how it can heal, promote relaxation, self-awareness, and social connection. Drawing on recent scientific research into chanting, we discuss and practice various sound and relaxation techniques that promote physiological and psychological wellbeing. We practice gentle movement, specific sound and breathing techniques designed to heal and increase self-awareness, then finish with a guided relaxation.

Mantra Meditation for Yoga Teachers
Duration -2 Hours
​Designed specifically for Yoga teachers, this workshop blends science with practice, participants engage in guided chanting, and discussion on how sound-based practices enhance mental, physical, and spiritual health. Teachers also gain the confidence to incorporate mantra meditation into their Yoga classes.

Mantra Meditation for PTSD
Duration - 90 mins
This workshop provides an alternative and complementary approach to traditional PTSD treatments. While the American Psychological Association (APA) recommends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD treatment, these methods have limitations. Mantra meditation offers a stress-reducing, mind-body technique that can manage PTSD symptoms effectively and can be used alongside conventional therapies, providing a more holistic approach to treatment without side effects of conventional therapy alone.

Contemplative Practices for Anxiety Workshop
Duration -90 mins
Explore how to use contemplative techniques to manage stress and reduce anxiety. Scientific research supports the effectiveness of chanting practices in reducing stress and anxiety by promoting parasympathetic nervous system activity and enhancing relaxation, self-awareness, and improving emotional regulation. The workshop aims to provide tools that complement traditional anxiety treatments, fostering a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing.

The Neuroscience of Meditation
This workshop offers a practical exploration of various meditation techniques, and educates yoga therapists and health practitioners on their impact on the brain. Participants will learn how these practices promote healing, health, social connection, and altered states of consciousness. Attendees will gain practical, evidence-based meditation techniques designed to enhance brain health and overall wellbeing.

Mantra Meditation for Depression
Duration -90 mins
Participants will be introduced to sound-based practices that support emotional regulation and inner calm. Drawing on scientific research, the session explores how repetitive sound and breath can help reduce symptoms of depression and promote a sense of connection and wellbeing.

Mantra for mental health
Duration -2 Hours
Explore how sound-based practices can support mental wellbeing. Participants learn evidence-based mantra techniques shown to reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional balance, with practical guidance on integrating these tools into daily life and professional settings.

Meditation for ADHD
Duration -90 mins
Explore how meditation, particularly mantra meditation, can help manage symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Mantra meditation has been found to improve attention and decrease stress. By educating yoga therapists and health practitioners on how clients can integrate mantra meditation into their daily routine, they can learn how to help their clients with ADHD improve their attention span, decrease impulsivity, and manage stress.
The workshop aims to equip individuals with practical techniques to support individuals living with ADHD.
Pre- recorded Courses

12 days of Mantra Course
Duration -15 mins x 12 days
A series of 12 x short videos of mantra meditation practices to help participants stay calm and in control during this busy time of year. Participants will be sent one video per day for 12 days in December, with each video being 10-15mins in length.

Chakra Harmonising Chant
Duration -6 x 45 mins
This series of 6 x 45-minute videos include some gentle movement and a chakra bija harmonising chant. Each week will focus on a different chakra and include the chant for all the chakras. Participants are also encouraged to practice daily in between weekly online video content.
